The Microsoft XP embedded operating system and the Face-tek 1C1 security software is pre-installed in Face-Tek Gatekeeper II. It offers greater flexibility than the traditional MCU-based system by allowing user to add additional software plug-ins. In addition, it offers additional function like the Time Attendance and hierarchy management function. It could be implemented the Client/Server architecture via the TCP/IP networks as well. Its network capability allows customer to scale it up in the hierarchy multi-layers access control network with shared database and maintain the access control list from the remote site.
